ABSTRACT 

This community service activity aims to provide understanding and skills to the people of Alue Piet Village, Panga District, Aceh Jaya Regency, in utilizing local resources to control pests and plant diseases naturally. The main focus of this activity is the process of making botanical pesticides from neem leaves as a solution for safe and environmentally friendly botanical pesticides in maintaining the sustainability of agriculture in the area. The activity began with socialization regarding the importance of sustainable pest control and the negative impacts of using chemical pesticides. Furthermore, it involved active community participation in collecting and identifying neem leaves as the main ingredient. The process of extracting active compounds from neem leaves was also taught to the community, along with the formulation and application techniques for the resulting botanical pesticides. The results of this activity include increasing community knowledge regarding natural plant pest control, as well as empowering them in producing and using botanical pesticides from neem leaves. This community service activity is expected to provide a positive contribution in encouraging the implementation of sustainable and resilient agricultural practices in Alue Piet Village, as well as providing inspiration for surrounding communities to adopt a similar approach in managing their agriculture.
